England international Jadon Sancho may be forced to hand in a transfer request to Borussia Dortmund if he is to make his long-awaited move to Manchester United.
Dortmund is standing their ground that the player won’t be sold after United failed to offer a bid in a ‘speculated’ time but there is still a feeling that Sancho would be joining United in the summer.
The 20-year-old winger was reportedly optimistic of a deal being completed last week but has since been left in a frustrating limbo with Dortmund insisting he is staying put.
The Sun claim that Sancho is feeling helpless and is now facing the dilemma of whether to acrimoniously force his way out by handing in a transfer request or demanding to leave.
The German club have appointed an agent as an intermediary to negotiate with United and have rejected their offer of £70million rising to £110m based on honours and appearances
On his side, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer refused to speak on the transfer after their win over Copenhagen instead insisting that he wasn’t going to talk about players from other teams.
