Paul Pogba has returned to Serie A giants Juventus, putting an end to a disappointing second stint with Manchester United.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Frenchman, 29, left Old Trafford at the end of last season after failing to agree on a new contract.<\/p>\n After months of speculation, he has officially rejoined Juventus as a free agent on a reported four-year contract.<\/p>\n Before heading back to Italy, the World Cup winner could not resist firing a parting shot at the United hierarchy for failing to keep him at the Theatre of Dreams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Speaking in his Amazon Prime documentary, Pogba said: “My thought process is to show Manchester [United] that they made a mistake in waiting to give me a contract.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “And to show other clubs that Manchester had made a mistake in not offering me a contract.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “How can you tell a player you absolutely want him and offer him nothing?”<\/p>\n Confirming the second coming of the France international, a statement on Juve’s official website said: “When we say goodbye after an intense adventure shared together, there is always a glimmer of hope that we will see each other again, sooner or later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “With Paul, that is exactly what has happened. In 2016, our paths parted after four incredible years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “In the meantime, his talent and power came to the fore when as an integral part of his national side he contributed to France\u2019s World Cup 2018 triumph.<\/p>\n “Although we parted ways, we never really forgot about each other and there is something ancestral in the call that after a thousand adventures eventually leads you back home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “Paul is back in Turin. He left as a boy and returns as a man and a champion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “But there is one thing that has not changed \u2014 the desire to write unforgettable pages of club history together once more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “Pogba is back and we couldn\u2019t be happier.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n While Pogba starred in France\u2019s World Cup success, he failed to live up to expectations during his second stint at United.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After rejoining the club from Juventus in August 2016 for \u00a389 million, he could only help the Red Devils win the Europa League and League Cup during a largely forgettable stay in Manchester.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Paul Pogba has returned to Serie A giants Juventus, putting an end to a disappointing second stint with Manchester United.
