It is a record that the Egyptian could challenge this term, but one Haaland would certainly fancy having a crack at beating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Perhaps not even Jamie Vardy envisaged the 13 goals in 11 straight games he scored for Leicester during their memorable Premier League title-winning 2015-16 season.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

His finish against Manchester United saw him overtake Ruud van Nistelrooy\u2019s previous run of 10 games, with Daniel Sturridge (eight), Shearer (seven) and Joe Willock (seven) the nearest challengers.<\/p>\n
