Midfielder N’Golo Kante will be in Chelsea’s squad to face Arsenal in FA Cup final, head coach Frank Lampard has confirmed.
Kante suffered a hamstring injury during Chelsea match against Watford on July 4th and has missed a number of matches for the Blues including the 3-1 win over Manchester United. The Frenchman will be assessed again before a final decision is made on whether he will be handed a start against Arsenal at Wembley.
“Yes, Kante and Willian are in Chelsea’s squad to face Arsenal in FA Cup final and we will see if they are fit enough to be involved,” Lampard said during Friday’s press conference.
However, Chelsea will be without the services of attacking midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is on the sidelines after he picked up a knocking during a training session.
