Arsenal have unveiled their new 2020/21 away kit.
The kit, white in colour with red detailing, is inspired by the design of the East Stand at the club’s former grounds, Highbury, where they lifted the Premier League title 13 times before vacating in 2006.
It takes influence from some of the patterns and colors, as well as the marble halls found within the stadium.
The kit will be worn for the first time on Saturday when the women’s team take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final.
“Arsenal’s place in North London is synonymous with the club’s move to Highbury in 1913. Quite simply, it was the birthplace of the modern club”, said Adidas designer James Webb.
“We wanted to take the community – through design – back to Highbury’s halls, to reminisce via a pattern that speaks to the significance of this chapter of the club’s history.
