Chilean international Alexis Sanchez has spoken for the first time since sealing a permanent move to Inter Milan from Manchester United.
Sanchez inked a three-year deal with Inter on Thursday after spending the season on loan and in a video posted by Inter on their social media channels, he said that felt at home with Inter.
“I’m really happy to be staying here with you, Inter fans. I’ve found a family here, and the staff are great. [It’s] a group where there’s a real desire to win something big. People here want to fight together as a team to give the club the success it deserves.
“I’m hungry and I want to win – my goal is to make all our fans happy. I’m here to win, and I’m happy that I’m staying here at Inter!” Sanchez said.
Sanchez signed for United from Arsenal in January 2018 under Jose Mourinho was in charge but he failed to replicate his form exhibited during his time at The Emirates with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer failing too to revive his career.
After struggling with life at Inter in the starting days, Sanchez has been revitalized with the 31-year-old playing 30 games in all competitions for Inter this season, scoring four goals in the process.
Sanchez now permanently joins fellow ex-Reds Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young at the San Siro.
